Packing List: Europe

Heading to Europe?

First of all, we’re jealous! Secondly, we want to help you prepare and pack correctly.

We are BIG fans of travel cubes. If you haven’t tried them yet, now’s your chance!

Here are some must haves: 

• Passport (be sure it won’t expire within 6 months of your travel date)
• Credit card (alert the credit card company you’ll be traveling to avoid fraudulent holds)
• Mobile device chargers
• Portable mobile chargers (for on-the-go charging on those long days of sightseeing)
• Universal Travel Adaptors
• Apple AirTag (iPhone users)
• Headphones
• Good reading material
• Download Google Maps of your destination cities for offline access
• Waterproof jacket or a trench coat
• Comfortable shoes (my favorites for Europe are Vejas + Adidas Gazelles)
• A long skirt or pair of pants for visiting basilicas (some have dress codes to enter). A shawl or scarf is great for covering shoulders, too!
• Backpack
• Sunglasses
• Scarf
• Wet wipes (#NoGerms) and Tissues 
• Ibuprofen (pain killer for those achy backs and knees)
• Prescription Medications
• Midnight Sleep Supplement for the long plane ride and adjusting to your new timezone
• Get motion sick? Our favorite go-to is Bonine. It’s non-drowsy so you can keep on going!
• Cross-body purse

What to leave behind: 

• Blow dryer: use the hotel-provided option. Trust us, your luggage weight and electric converter will both be better off!
• High heels: you will be walking a LOT! The last thing your feet will want are high heels. And, the roads are old and not easy to walk on in heels. Again, trust us!
